I really love this - I liked it so much that after it arrived today (and I tested it) - I ordered another!
The LED lights are VERY bright - they will assist my Mother when she needs to go through the unlit back gate - and will probably scare off any would-be intruders.the white led make the nightvision became colorful insteadof tranditional balck-white nightvision.
I have only tested this inside so far - and set up the ""E-mail alert with photo"" - it does send a photo immediately, although it did seem to miss my hand waving (so there might be a delay in taking the shot) - but you will know that there is / was activity within the sensor range just by you getting an E-mail.
I don't know (yet) what all the video and image settings mean - I just whacked them up to maximum (or down to minimum) based on what I thought they meant - I will have to research more into this.
Wi-fi connection on my phone took a little while, but now works fine once I followed the included booklet.
Desktop PC browser strangely worked via Wi-fi too...even though I have a WIRED Ethernet (Internet) connection from my PC to my router...I did NOT need to have an Ethernet cable running from the CCTV camera to my router / PC.but it include a ethernet cable so you can use it when the wifi signal is weak.
if you think the power cable is short - I would urge anyone who buys this to get a 5.5mm x 2.1mm CCTV extender cable - between £3 to £8 on Amazon (I went for a 10 metre one for £6.21).
Likewise trying to follow the English instructions to set up the most basic settings was tricky - hence my 4 out of 5 rating for ""Easy to install"".
But I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.
