Makes Cutting the Cord That Much Easier!

I've been seriously thinking about "cutting the cord" when it comes to my satelite service.  After all, why should I pay for my local channels when I can get them over the air for free?!?! For years I've been paying for my satelite service and every year it keeps getting more expensive. I keep trying to justify the cost saying things like "I can't get my local channels in clearly". Well I bought this TV antenna w/ an amplifier to boost the signal not giving this much hope. I've tried several brands of indoor antennas, many very similar in nature to this one. But somehow the range of 80-120 miles really got my attention. That said I figured I'd order one and test it out. This one did NOT disappoint! I'm now getting my local channels. And what's more? My satelite provider lost 2 of our local channels while in negotiation. So I'm now paying for services I currently do not have. With the antenna I get back all my local channels and more than I had on my current provider. Plus hooking it up was easy and having a smart tv makes it very easy to go between streaming channels and my locals making it very easy to start seriously thinking about really cutting the cord and only keeping internet service with my current provider.
