This works but not as well as other brushes I own or hair removing gloves for pets. Maybe it would be better suited just on short hair dogs or short haired cats. I just don't like it as well as my other hair removal items I have for my cats. The handle however is super comfy to hold. I just think my cats have too much hair for this smaller comb
