I used the wall brackets that came with the curtain rod and they were difficult to install. In fact, one of the brackets fell off the wall because it was not installed correctly. I love that these attatch to the frame and therefore are much more level. The nails are on top and there is much better access. Very stury metal and not flimsy like the ones that came with the rod. I really like these and will be getting more!
