This is a great little radio with big radio sound! You charge it with a USB adapter, like the one you use for your cellphone. It is a combination AM/FM radio, a Bluetooth speaker, and also plays music from sdcard or USB flash-drive. Charging cable, 3.5mm audio cable, and rechargeable battery all included.
We purchased it to use during power failures, though it sounds so good, we use it every morning as well. We were surprised that a radio so small (it measures 7 x 2.5 x 1 inches) would have such excellent volume and tonal quality. It even has a telescopic antenna to bring in weak stations.
It's powered by a standard Nokia-type BL-5C battery (included). It has great battery life: we played the FM radio for over 11 hours straight and the battery was still going strong. Amazing!
