I was actually quite impressed with how this was packaged. I would be very surprised if one was received damaged. It does come with some cheapo tools to assemble it, but they are sufficient. The directions (if you need them) are printed on the box itself. Overall, I am impressed. Granted, I just received this today. I doubt it will cause any issues - no moving parts and it just sites there and holds a closed, docked laptop for me. I would buy this again.
