I always wanted a can opener that cut on the side and this works great.  It is good to save your fingers from the sharp edges a regular can opener makes.  Also eliminates the irritating drop of the lid in the contents and the bad language that ensues!  Great item and well worth the money.  I do recommend this opener and well done to the seller!
