It heats up so fast

This portable electric grill pot heats up so fast, and when first heating the unit the smell of a burned rubber is very strong, and it came from the power connector controller where you adjust the heating temperature. I would not advise leaving the unit unattended when cooking something especially putting it on top of a non-heat resistant surface as the main unit body becomes very hot. So careful always when touching any part of this electric pot. Secondly, the lid glass plastic handle rubber ring melts easily even at a low temperature so I replaced it with metal. It was made of low-quality rubber and plastic materials that were not heat-resistant. The good thing about this electric grill hot pot is you can re-heat and cook food fast at the same time with soup or anything combined as it has two temperature controllers. It was easy for me to clean the unit also.
