When I brought this item I assumed it was going to have some weight to it since the description says "quilted". However I was surprised that it is very lightweight. Definitely good for a summer cover. Because how lightweight it is, I would call it more of a dust cover.
In regards to the quality of this quilt, I would have to say it's very well made. The stitches are tight with no runs or snags. Very easy to clean. If your washer fits a normal twin weighed blanket, it would definitely fit this one.
