We use these for everything, wine, beer, water and soda. I like the shape and love that they hold plenty and do keep things cold for quite some time. I like having lids for them since we take them outside ofter. They clean easily. They are lightweight but are made solid and have stood up to a few drops already. They have become our go to drinking cups.
