The mirror works great but the light is too bright

This mirror is good in concept but in practise the LED lights are too bright. It lights up what is infront of it but still casts a shadow on the sides of my face.
I like the different levels of magnification available. The mirror is clear and accurate. It comes with a usb cord to plug into a wall unit. I used my phone charger one. It requires 4 AAA batteries to run on battery backup, not included.
The black model is nice and will fit in with any decore. This is just not for me. The power button doesn't do anything it just controls with the touch screen.
