These keep my hands warm in the below zero temps of winter here. The strap on the back that tightents with a tug helps keep heat in and snow and cold out. The cuffs on the gloves are longer so you can tuck them into your coat and keep snow out. Fingers have pleanty of room to move yet not too long to get in the way when trying to do things outside like make snowballs!!!!!
