Thick tights!

With it being colder, Little Miss needs tights to wear under her dresses or she won't be wearing them. Since I can't stand the idea of sending her to the nursery at church in anything but a dress or skirt, I figured it was time to pick up some basic white tights for her. This set comes two to a pack, but you can buy them in indivdiuals, too. They come in white, black, burgandy, charcoal gray, heather gray, pink, and purple. You can buy the white, black, and gray in sets of two, or you can get a set of three with black, white, and gray in either general thickness or thin.  Lots of options. All of that said, I got the white set of two. I know white is probably not good for an active 2 year old, but they are what we needed to match the various dresses she has. I like the way these have a ribbed look to them. They are nicely textured. I was impressed with how thick they are. She is definitely going to stay warm in them while wearing a dress or skirt, and hopefully because they ARE so thick, they will stand up to the abuse of a 2 year old crawling around and falling down. They have the feet built in, so you don't have to worry about them bunching up arond the front of the ankles like some tights that are made for kids. These come in sizes 2T through 10, so I am glad to know I can get larger sizes when I need them. We got the 2T size, though she has been wearing size 3T clothing, and they fit her fine. They are actually a little big on her so she has room to grow still. I doubt we would be able to use them next year, but they'll get us through the rest of this year at least. These are a great set of tights and I will definitely be buying again when we need them.
