a bit bright to be considered warm white

This is a really cute tree that comes with a really long cord so you can get it into where you need it if an outlet is not right near it.  I was hoping for this to be a softer light but instead it is pretty bright.  The one I got was supposed to be a warm light so thought it would be good for a nightlight in the living room but it is too bright for that.  It is still a very cute tree though.  I think the price is a bit high for what you get too.  This cannot be put outside if you live anywhere that it would be hit with wind as it would blow over pretty easily in my opionion.
