Great fun!

We have a built in swimming pool and my boys always wear goggles when swimming so that they can see what it going on and mess with each other. I had a swim mask like this show up randomly, unasked for, last summer, and was amazed to see the boys fighting over who got to wear it so wanted to pick up another one so they both have one they can wear. I was excited to be invited to review this one and eagerly accepted knowing the boys would like it.   And luckily my 11-year-old was invited to an early Spring swim party last weekend, so he begged me to take pictures of this so that he could take it with him to the party. I made sure to get those pictures done immediately and he happily took it with him and said he had a blast. He reported back that everyone kept asking him where he got it and how it worked, so he had a lot of interested friends wanting to test it out and see how it works.   You get the mask with breathing tube, a set of earplugs, a holder for a GoPro, and a mesh bag to carry it all in. I do wish the mesh bag had more than just a velcro enclosure, though. It would be great if it had a strap to carry it from, handles, or even a loop to put a carabiner on so that it doesn't have to be stuffed in a bag. But having a bag is good, regardless.   There are multiple colors to choose from when ordering including the dark blue that we have, a light blue, black, purple, etc. It is a full face mask, so covers everything from forehead to chin and allows you to breathe and see easily when under water. It actually works quite well for swimming pool use, and I am sure the same is true for other swimming, though we haven't taken them to the lake or beach at this point. It is just a snorkel, not a full diving mask, so don't pick this up expecting to be able to go scuba diving. You can't go too deep with it, but the kids can easily swim around our built in pool, which is about 8 feet deep in the deep end.   It is easy to put together, but a bit challenging to take apart when you are done and want to put it back in the bag. But it does come apart and can be stored in the mesh bag after. The breathing aparatus snaps in to place and uses a float ball in it to stop the water from getting in. The addition of the earplugs is nice, since we don't have anything like that for them to use.   I really like the fact it has a GoPro holder on it. We have a sports cam that the boys love wearing and I love the idea of them being able to record what they see with this. I am not sure if it works with just the sports cam on it (make sure it is waterproof) or if it would fit with a case on it, too. I don't have an underwater case, since we have never had a good way to carry out sports cam underwater, so can't say for sure with this attachment, especially since we haven't tested it since our cam is not waterproof.   Overall, great snorkel mask. The kids love these things and are glad they don't have to fight over who gets to wear it.
