The day I put the eggs out must’ve done something to my chickens. They laid an egg the very next day. So yes, I’m sure this had some kind of psychological effect on them. I moved them from box to box each day a bit. They also help so that if they get picked at, the customers don’t like the unpleasant experience on their beak and are less likely to pick at a real egg once it’s laid. I tarted taking them out as one of my hens was becoming broody (sitting on the egg to hatch). But they are now consistent layers. Literally worked the next day after I placed them in the coop. Overall great buy and I highly recommend.
