I have 3 small children, 1 deaf, 1with ASD and ADHD and the other one is 4 years old and very spoiled.  This light is in the hallway where it is needed the most.  When the one with Autism and ADHD wakes up I can see the light blarring in my room and I wake up to make sure he is not getting into something that can harm him in the middle of the night.  The other child can also see her way to the bathroom at nigh and not get into anything because she knows that I will also be up.  This light is a God send, and it works wonders for me.
