Easy to charge

My boys  constantly go through batteries in their Xbox controllers despite us having a stand to charge them. We now have a stand in my room where controllers go during the week (school nights), and they have this one in their bedroom for charging on the weekends. The stand powers up by USB. My boys were pleased to see this stand comes with additional batteries and that the batteries have the backs built in so there is no need to worry about losing the backs. That means we now have 4 batteries for the 2 controllers they use. And interestingly enough, I laid the battery on the stand without the controller and it began charging! We were a little surprised to see that. So they can charge the batteries that go with this stand without the conrollers and make sur they are ready to change out. But it is important to know that the batteries that came with this stand are different from the batteries from the other stand. They are not interchangeable on the stands, so must be charged on the stand they came with. This is working out great for us and the boys are very pleased with the life of the batteries. So far no problems at all, even after a full day of use.
