not sturdy

I dont know what I was expecting for this lamp, but for the price, I was really hoping it would go together better and be a bit more sturdy. The rods are thin and flimsy. The screw in parts are painted over so you hav eto  chip that off to be able to put the pieces together. The diagram for it isn't very helpful at all. Took me three tries to figure out which way they meant. 

The bamboo covering has bad stitching that is coming apart on the edges. 

I put my own alexa enabled smart lightbulbs into it, so that I can make the shade different colors. Thats about the only positive for it. I also happen to like the button you can step on to turn them on and off. 

For the $79.99 price tag for full price, buy something else
