I've placed this everywhere! Coat closet, pantry, linen closet, under the sink, and closet... I need more! The motion detector works perfect and it's smart enough to know that there's light so it doesn't need to turn on. Love that it's rechargeable and since it's LED it doesn't burn through the single charge.
