This holds my phone nicely I have not tried it with my tablet yet but so far so good. I really like gooseneck cellphone holders but with this being a tripod version it makes it so much easier to find a place to set it up next to my bed.
This tripod is not to heavy but still dose the job its nice that it will even hold tablets also.
