Very Good Product

I recently purchased this Salad Cutter bowl. We eat a lot of salads...both fruit and vegetable based salads...especially in the summer. This looked like a neat gadget and I thought I'd give it a try. Thanks to Amazon Prime it was here only two days later!

I used the salad cutter bowl for my dinner salad the day it arrived. It is pretty easy to use. I cut my lettuce head into big hunks and my tomatoes and cukes, etc into a couple large pieces. I put the in the cutter and sliced in each slot with a chef knife. I turned it a quarter turn and sliced again. I noticed the contents turned with the top because it was pretty full so I did not get a 90 degree turn of knife compared to contents. I realized you have to partially separate the two pieces before you turn the quarter turn.

The cutter worked well and for someone not real handy with a chef knife it is a great gadget for making fruit or veggie salads. Personally I am quick with a knife so it was a neat tool but not something I would use every time unless chopping into finer pieces for salsa or something.

All in all this is a great buy for anyone except a very savvy kitchen cook.
