I bought this for my nephew who is 4 years old. He is as active as you would think a 4-year-old would be. Putting up the tent was very easy and the material seems to be sturdy. My nephew and his cousins had a great time playing with it. He has not been able to take it outdoors since it has been cold and windy, but I am sure it will be fun once the weather warms up again. I think he will enjoy this playhouse for a long time.
