Doesn't Work!

My first impression of this sewing machine was that the box looked aged and that it had been sitting in storage for years. My impressions only got worse from there.

Upon opening the box the machine already had a piece of fabric in it and was sewed in a circle. There were no batteries in the machine so somebody obviously did it and then put it back in the box with the batteries out. I put new batteries in and the Machine would go for about 2 seconds, then shut off. This happened multiple times before I finally just gave up on the machine. If I would have paid full price for this I would have been extremely upset and returned it. It did not work and I believe it was used before I received it.
