My nephew absolutely loves dinosaurs. Loves them so much it is an obsession. So anytime I see dinosaur clothing, I pick it up for him. I saw this hoodie and fell in love with it. I knew I HAD to have it for him.
It is beyond cute! It is a cotton blend zip up sweatshirt with a hood. The coloring is definitely more boyish, in yellows and blues with a giant dinosaur on the front. But what makes it so cute are the hood and back! There are spikes all down the back of the sweatshirt and up the center of the hood. There are also little ears on the hood, though I doubt there were dinosaurs that had ears. But it still makes it cute! And the spikes all stick up. Mine were pretty well mashed down from shipping and packaging, but they were easy to pull back up in to place and get where they needed to be.
Sizing from some of these sellers is always confusing, so be sure you closely look at the sizing charts in the Amazon description, not the link for the sizing chart, to be sure you are selecting the correct size. They recommend you order 1 size up to ensure fit. Here is their sizing chart, for reference.

The sweatshirt is lightweight and not the thickest (I have seen some hoodies that are very plushy and thick, but not this one), so would be perfect for our area since it won't start getting chilly in the mornings for another month or so and then won't get cold enough to need a jacket until closer to December. His reaction was priceless. He had to put it on immediately, despite it being triple digits outside still. He loved it. He kept putting the hood on and then growling and roaring at us as he ran around the living room. He would reach up occassionally and touch the spikes on the hood, then smile the happiest smile at us. It was obvious he loved it!
