I got this for my husband and he likes this charger very much for its one unique feature, it holds his phone. There is bookcase next to his bed where he usually places his phone to charge since there is no room for a nightstand. His phone gets constantly knocked off the shelf when he pulls the cord by accident and now he just puts his phone over the charger eliminating that issue.
It doesn't seem to overheat and charges fine.
