This spider by 3Otters is the bomb! I purchased this without telling the kids. Imagine their surprise and delight arriving home from school one day to the porch covered in cobwebs and a giant spider climbing the column! They were tickled. The spider measure about 50" and loses a couple inches when you crimp the bendable legs, but he is still large and in charge of the web. The spider is hairy, yet soft and the body appears to be foam covered by the furry fabric. The set includes webbing as well as a set of small spiders, perfect for adding to the web, as table decoration, or in goodie bags. Because we did not want the larger spider getting wet and ruined, we have brought him indoors. My cat enjoys a nice staredown and the kids enjoy finding a new place to hide Mr. Spider so they can scare mommy and daddy. Overall, this spider is a hit, as are all products from 3 Otters! We are very happy with the product and the quality! 5 Stars.
