I was so afraid I wouldn't be able to get it on me if I didn't buy 2. I'm a large lady and I was able to get on my waist evenlyand use properly. The hardest part was latching it because of my stomach being in the way, but once I got past that it was a breeze. I did watch dome videos prior to receiving my hoop so I had an idea of some techniques to try to get started. So when one didn't work I moved on to the next and found what worked for me. I do recommend checking out how to videos, I think this entire process would have been frustrating had I not done that first. I tried out both this hoop and the weight hula hoop. They have videos on the pros and cons and techniques for both.
the price was good. i just hope it can stand the test of time because I plan on using it frequently. The material that the hoop is made from is okay. I cannot really tell how durable it is.
