This button-up shirt is designed to be worn untucked, it is the proper length for casual wear. It is made of nice, stretchy yet heavy material though it is not hot to wear. I believe the material is the type that wicks sweat from your torso, with the effect of cooling your core. It is well made and beautifully printed with a colorful Hawaiian pattern. I will enjoy wearing it. One thing to mote: buy at least one size larger than you think you will need, they seem to run smaller than expected. I suspect that it is a problem with Asian/USA sizing. I normally wear a XL shirt, I ordered 2XL, which is still a little tight around the middle. It will fit perfectly when I drop a few more pounds. I used my grandson to model it. A+++
