Much safer than a "guillotine", ideal for parents that have kids.

I decided to buy this paper trimmer because the "guillotine" type I have is to dangerous to have around the kids. While it is not as easy to operate, its performance is compensated by being safer. It cuts paper easily by means of a metal disk (similar to the ones in a pizza cutter) that you guide against a metal cutting rail. This system makes it harder, if not impossible for a kid to accidentally slash a finger. It is a great addition to my home office, but I think is a tidy bit over priced when compared to a low priced"guillotine".
