This is a cordless rechargeable LED light. It was charged up the second I took it out of the box! It's charged just like your other electronic devices. I had it going for 24 hours without a need for charging.
My only issue is that it wasn't easy to mount on the wall. It kept falling. We have it now mounted on our baseboards. The light works great for the kids.
