Beedee Silicone Ice Cube Tray Twinpack

I was getting fed up with hard plastic ice cube trays because of the difficulty getting the ice cubes out and the amount of times I've broken a tray by trying to bend it to ease the ice cubes out. Someone suggested I should get a silicone ice tray as they make things a lot easier.

With this in mind I got this Beedee silicone ice cube tray twinpack which come with silicone lids which are supposed to stop the ice cubes picking up any odd odours or tastes from the fridge. Each tray measures 4.5 x 7.2 x 1.4 inches and makes 15 ice cubes measuring approx 1.3 x 1.3 x 1.3 inches.

Because these silicone trays are flexible and bendy I'm finding it a lot easier getting my ice cubes out and also easier on my thumbs compared to the rigid plastic trays I've used before so I'm very happy with these Beedee silicone ice cube trays.
