My husband is a carpenter by trade and loves to do woodworking as a hobby. Plus he is always helping his friends with their home improvement projects. I have purchased several sets of contour gauges for him but none of them had the locking feature on them. He prefers to use this set because he said that they feel more durable and he feels more confident that it will hold its shape so that he can get a precise cut every time.
The set comes with a 5 inch gauge, a 10 inch gauge, a small fabric measuring tape and a soft black drawstring carrying case with the brands logo in white vinyl lettering on the front. Each gauge has a built-in ruler which measures in centimeters and inches. My husband says this set works well for him and asked me to purchase a second set to keep in his workshop.
