This has a short cord but can be placed in the front of a desktop USB port or in the back and if plugged into the back can remain there but if plugged into the front can be removed and just replugged in when needed.
I plan to use this in the back of my desktop and use for placing music and ringtones onto a microsd cad for my cellphones. Much easier to make album art on a pc then on a cellphone after all.
This will come in handy for many things.
If I plug this iinto the back of my desktop then I can place this next to the desktop and use when needed rather then worrying about not have a place to sit it or a place to plug it in. Since it will remain plugged in.
