I was surprised when I received this cord. Instead of a fabric or plastic outside, it is actually made with a metal and feels very durable. I have had problems in the past with cords getting nicked or broken, this should help prevent that issue. I use cords like this in my car to hook up my phone or MP3 player. It has a geat connection with no crackling or cut outs. Very impressed with the durability and feel.
