This is a beautiful singing bowl. The sound is deep and relaxing with strong vibrations. I don’t know what the markings mean around the bowl but they just add to the overall esthetics and beauty of the bowl. The cushioned doughnut is very pretty and colorful. You actually get two striker mallets, one is leather at the bottom and the other is all wooden. The bowls sings differently depending on which striker you use. The included chakra bracelet is beautiful and very easily adjustable to fit all sizes. It comes with a burlap storage bag but this bowl is too pretty to keep it hidden in the bag. I am in LOVE with this meditation bowl!
