I bought this digital thermometer as im always cooking , I love to make jam and cook roasts , this was perfct for me .
as soon as you fold out the probe it switches on autimatically and fold the probe back in and it switches off , ideal as you havent any fidly buttons .
you can set it to farenhight or celcious , it has a little button for a back light and the number ares displayed quite big .
