Such a bright light for being solar

I bought this to put out by the pool and to have it shine on the ladder area so when we go night swimming we can see our way to and up the ladder and this light is so bright and actually goes dim after you leave the area and goes brighter when you walk in the area of the light again. I love how you can you the lights indivually or together.
