We take day trips on a regular basis. and I find that the kids fall asleep quite often, pillow is going to be used a lot. It simple velcros onto the seatbelt and provides padding which can then be used to rest your head on. I can live on the belt so no need to remove it except for cleaning. It is completely washable and is made of a very soft micro suede and the inside is cotton. This is a really convenient item and I think I need to get a couple more of these so we can all sleep while daddy drives. I recommend this as very convenient and easy to use as well as affordable. I like this item so much that I got one for each of my kids in gray and pink so they cant fight over them.
