This is a neat gadget to have. We eat a salad with almost every meal so I have thoroughly enjoyed having this. It makes things a lot easier! But other than just salad I used it to cut up cabbage for cole slaw! You could use it for steamed cabbage also. This turned out to be a very helpful kitchen aid!
