These are durable skewers. I used some of them for cooking and the others for holding things to dry. They were strong enough to hold art projects so they can dry above the table. Also used them to put though the bottom of my clay projects so I could paint them without having to hold the clay object in my hand and get paint all over me. They are versatile and can be used for many things. Like grilling hotdogs or marshmallows. Even used to but meat and veggies on the grill. I like that these had a lot of different uses and held up to what I needed. Thank goodness there were so many lol.
