You know how they tell you to just get rid of stuff you don't need? You know how everytime you finally get rid of something you immediately need it? Such is the tale of my salad spinner. I had a fancy one that you pushed down to use. But I hadn't used it in a year and I was in the middle of a purge month and it seemed like a good choice for the chopping block. So off it went to the Vietnam Vets....and two days later I discovered @cleanfooddirtygirl's instructions for the best way to prep greens so they last....and of course it required a salad spinner. I tried alternatives (towel rolling anyone?), but they were all kinda a pain in the butt. So finally I caved and got a brand spanking new salad spinner. And guess what!! It is like way more amazing than that old fancy push down one. I got the #Lovkitchen one because quite frankly I never knew salad spinners cost so much!! It is really nice quality. It has a lock lever and drain on the top. The bowl is 4 quarts, so it fits quite a bit. It has a crank mechanism to spin, which I really like. I just find it easier to adjust my spin than with the push down. And now I can have clean dry greens for the week Find the #lovkitchen salad spinner on Amazon: www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B074C8Y2CG
