I was interested in this kitchen scale because it has two ways of working, either using 2xAAA batteries or using the built-in rechargeable battery.
This kitchen scale is compact and has a good size. It has a nice and simple design with a tempered glass surface, which makes it sturdy and resistant, and easy to clean with a wet cloth.
The platform is made of stainless steel and the support has 4 rubber feet.
On the glass surface, there is a useful LCD display reading 7 units such as g, kg, oz., lb, ml, including ml for milk, etc., with an increment of 0.1oz/1g.
The kitchen scale has a range of between 1g to 10 kg. The LCD display has also a low battery indicator (LO symbol, which appears on the screen) and an overload indicator (0-Ld). This scale turns off automatically if not used for 3 minutes, saving thus energy. On the side of the kitchen scale, there is a USB port to use for charging the scale from a power bank, PC, etc. using the USB charging cable provided. While charging, the LCD display will show ’8’.
When the kitchen scale is fully charged the LCD screen will show ‘FULL’. Due to its size, the kitchen scale is easy to store not taking much space. The scale has also a hook hidden inside which can be pulled out to hang the kitchen scale in a convenient place.
The kitchen scale is easy to use. It has a tare button (Z/T) which is also the switch On/Off button. The Tare button makes it convenient to weigh both solid and liquid ingredients in a container. After switching on the kitchen scale, wait for the zero to appear on the LCD screen, and then place a container on the surface of the scale. Choose the unit and press the Tare button to zero again, to take out the weight of the container. Add the ingredient to weigh out.
The weight seen on the screen is the net weight of the ingredient. This versatile kitchen scale is a great addition to any household to weigh out a variety of ingredients including liquids.
