I have a new Android TV box and whilst the supplied remote control is good for basic functions some of the apps I use are easier to use with a mouse so I decided to get a basic wireless mouse. I wanted something I thought would be reliable so went for this one from Philips.
The mouse is powered by an AA battery which is supplied and also comes with a manual and a tiny USB wireless dongle which plugs into to the device you want the mouse to work on with a stated range of up to 10 meters.
The mouse feels comfortable in the hand, works on a variety of surfaces and the buttons and scroll wheel are responsive and work well. I'm happy that this mouse has made my TV box a lot easier to control but it can also be used on laptops and desktop computers if you needed a wireless mouse for these.
