The big positive: There is a locking button to hold these in place, rather than open all the way and then slide for the adjustable grip, you press the locking button, slide to the right jaw size and then release.
These are what you'd expect for a cheap set of pliers. They came covered in oil to prevent rusting and even have some instructions stating that keeping them oiled keeps the rust away. I appriciate the foresight to prevent rust, however with all this warning I expect these to be like a set of cheap pilars I have from harbor freight that are completely covered in surface rust after a year.
It's hard to tell the quality & type of metal used by looking at them, but the finish is nice and they look good. Only time will tell if these hold up or not.
