~ What ~
Made of colorful polypropylene plastic with stainless steel blades, this set includes 6 pairs of preschool training scissors. With holes for a thumb and finger, each pair measures 2.56 by 5.26 by 0.31 inches. The blades can cut paper, cards, crafts, plastic, cloth, et cetera. They arrive in a cellophane bag, ready for using or gifting.

~ Why ~
Having several grandchildren under 5 years old, this is a great way to get them used to using sharp objects including scissors. I appreciate that the tips of the tools are not sharp but rounded. Having them in bright colors is a nice feature.

~ Why Not ~
Some may not want to give their young ones sharp things, but these have safety in mind. It states online that they cannot cut hair, but the blade is sharp and does cut hair (it does have a guard on it though).

~ Wish ~
I wish the blade was a little longer as they are short, but maybe that is a plus when in the hands of a toddler.

~ Want ~
If you are looking for a set of 6 safety scissors for young ones, these may work for their inexpensive cost. I have down-graded them by a point only because online it states they cannot cut hair but they can.

Thanks to LovesTown for this discounted product that I am under no obligation to review.
