~ What ~
Made of aluminum alloy and ABS plastic with rubber tips, this black reaching grabber that weighs 5.6 ounces measures 32 inches long when extended and is approximately 16 inches when collapsed. There is a hand trigger on one end that allows the other end’s 2 grippers to grab an item out of reach. With a rotating 360-degree jaw, the vice can pick up an something that weights up to 5 pounds. Instructions are not included.

~ Why ~
Since I am getting older, my husband banded me from climbing ladders when I fell off one, breaking a rib. I like that I can use this extender to reach the top shelf of our kitchen cabinets to get a glass vase, jar, or item. In using it, it does easily grab and grasp the item without you having to put too much pressure on the grips in your hand. I also like that it can fold up almost flat and stored in the clear plastic snap-shut bag.

~ Why Not ~
Some may not like having to use these types of help-aides, but they are good for when you do not feel comfortable standing on a ladder or step-stool to reach up and get some. Others may feel their hand gets fatigued holding down the grippers, but they are ergonomic so should not tire the hand.

~ Wish ~
It would be ideal if instructions with tips were included.
