This car is remote-controlled, has lights and music. The car performs well and the three-year-old figured it out very fast and loved it! I had bought a smiliar one at Christmas for the other 3-year-old, but it was better in a couple of respects.
This item lost a star because:
1-Charging is more difficult because you have to unscrew the backplate.
2-In order to change batteries on the controller, you also have too unscrew the plate.
3- NO MUTE OPTION!!!
The other car I bought that was identical except for the above differences had the MUTE option so...I kept that one here with me for the kids to play with when they come over and gave the one without the mute option for him to take home. Was that evil of me? lol
