Plug and play simplicity

The dvd drive on our computer died and this was an easy replacement.  Just plugged it into a usb port and our Windows 10 computer immediately recognized it and it worked flawlessly.  Note, however, that while this plays DVDs it does not write DVDs.  It only writes CDs.  That was unclear in the description, saying in one place that it writes DVDs as well as CDs and in others that it only writes CDs.  That's the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Love the portability of this too, so I can easily move it from the desktop to the laptop.
