It's so great to have a set of bits for purposes like this. Manufacturers are making devices tamper-proof that their longevity is severely reduced which just adds to electronic waste. Thanks to kits like this I can repair my mp3 players and repair my own cell phones to save a lot of money. Of course, you should only attempt these kinds of repairs if you're a technical person or you risk doing more harm than good. 

I have used this toolkit to open several phones that needed battery replacements plus a few screen repairs and the screws were all non-standard. The spudger and the bonus suction cup that it came with are so helpful.

All of the bits are magnetized and the kit comes with a magnetizer so screws will never get lost. The case is well designed and will ensure no bits will fall out.
